Moscow airport transfers made simple for foreign travelers
For travelers arriving via Istanbul, Dubai or Belgrade, the worst moment after a long flight is the airport taxi queue. Unmarked drivers at Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo are notorious for charging three to four times the fair price, refusing card payment and forcing detours to "partner hotels". A pre-booked minivan removes all of that. We confirm the fare the moment you book — from 9,500 ₽ (≈ $105) — and the driver waits inside the arrivals hall with a sign that has your name on it. The price does not change if traffic is heavy, if you land at 4 a.m. or if you carry seven large suitcases. English is spoken as standard, and no extra fee is charged for child seats, infant seats or boosters.
Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), Vnukovo (VKO) — what to expect on arrival
Sheremetyevo is 35 km north-west of the Kremlin and most international long-haul flights now arrive at Terminal B or C. Passport control can take 20 to 60 minutes; we track your flight in real time and start the free 60-minute wait window from the actual landing moment. Domodedovo is 45 km south-east — older terminal, single hall — easier for meet & greet but heavier traffic on the M4 in the evening. Vnukovo is closest at 28 km south-west, the typical arrival point for Istanbul–Moscow Pegasus and Turkish Airlines redirects. From any of the three to central Moscow expect 45–90 minutes; Friday evening on the Leningradskoye Shosse can stretch to two hours, while Sunday mornings are fastest.
Paying for your transfer with a foreign card in 2026
Visa and Mastercard issued outside Russia stopped working in-country in March 2022 and the situation has not changed. You have three reliable ways to pay. First, pre-pay online before you fly — we accept PayPal, SEPA bank transfer and USDT (TRC-20 or ERC-20). Second, settle with the driver in cash; he accepts RUB, USD and EUR at a fair rate. Third, if you hold a Mir card or a UnionPay card issued by a non-sanctioned bank, our in-car terminal will read it. Tipping is not expected; 10–15 % is appreciated for an exceptionally helpful driver. A printable invoice in English with company VAT details can be issued on request — useful for travel-expense reimbursement.
Our minivans — Mercedes V-Class, Volkswagen Multivan, Hyundai H1
Every vehicle in the fleet is a full-size minivan, not a stretched sedan. The Mercedes V-Class seats six passengers in three rows of leather, with separate climate zones, USB charging at every seat and room for six large suitcases plus carry-ons. The VW Multivan is the workhorse — same capacity, slightly more luggage room, ideal for families with skis or strollers. The Hyundai H1 carries seven passengers and seven large bags and is the budget-friendly option without compromising on space. All vehicles are non-smoking, climate-controlled, equipped with bottled water and a phone-charging cable, and inspected before every airport pickup.
Pricing examples to popular Moscow destinations
SVO → Red Square / Kitay-Gorod: 9,500 ₽ (≈ $105). DME → Hotel Metropol, Lubyanka: 11,000 ₽. VKO → Crocus Expo / Myakinino: 8,500 ₽. SVO → Sheremetyevo–Sheremetyevskoe Shosse hotels: 7,500 ₽. Return transfer or a full-day charter quoted on request. No night surcharge, no weekend surcharge, no booking fee. Tolls on the M11 to Sheremetyevo are included in the fare. If your itinerary changes mid-flight — different terminal, extra stop in Khimki — message the driver on WhatsApp and we adjust without re-charging the basic fare.
Booking, free cancellation and what happens if your flight is late
Booking takes about a minute: pick the airport, type your Moscow address, choose date and time, leave a phone number that has WhatsApp installed. A human dispatcher replies within 30 minutes — never an automated bot — and sends the driver name, photo and car plate the evening before pickup. Free cancellation up to four hours before the scheduled pickup; later than that 50 % applies, and no-show is the full fare. If your flight is delayed we see it on our flight-radar feed and the free 60-minute wait window starts only after wheels-down — so you are never penalised for delays outside your control.
